My opinion, for what it's worth, is that if you have money AND a comprehensive medical insurance package, you can get very good medical care in the U.S. If you don't have either of these, then basic healthcare can be hard to come by. There are a lot of discussions going on with the political season in full gear, so we'll see if anything shakes out next January. From the people I talk to in other countries though, I'm not sure anyone is totally happy with their healthcare system.
