Joel,
From my understanding you can have up to nine on a conference call using skype.

I use to be a very heavy online gamer. We always used TS2 (Team Speak 2). It's a free download but someone has to host as the server.
The problem with most freeware or shareware VOIP programs is it doesn't do duplex very well, if at all. In layman's terms, that means only one person can speak at a time. Otherwise it becomes a garbled mess. Unlike the telephone where you can talk at the same time as others without degrading the signal. Not sure how SKYPE works on this issue. Never tried it. Anyone?

SKYPE seems to do ok I have talked to my daughter and her boyfriend both in different areas of China then me in Michigan. Just like any other conversation it was hard to not talk over each other but they could be heard. But on SKYPE you can also chat. and that would print out so talking over one another would not be an issue. Beth

Joel,
OK, I added you! Now only thing when you call or any one else let whoever is on the computer at the time know who you are and that you are from sct. Or my family will start to wonder!!! We use this all the time and it is always on. Due to the fact that we talk to our daughter in China every day. This could be a great way for everyone to get to chat! Mine is Beth Hunt and I am in Holland Michigan.

Well does anyone else have skype? Here is the link to get it at www.skype.com/download/skype/windows/It is free and free to chat. You can put money down and use it to call other peoples home or cell phones. But as long as you are talking computer to computer it is free! Joel and I talked for a short time today! He caught me at my computer before I had to run out and make a delivery to one of my clients. We should all set a time to talk! Who would like to?? Beth

Count me in - I still need to download Skype but am very interested. I have used MSN Instant Messenger for a long time now but there's no voice attached to that one unless you add in a webcam - then you have audio and video. Not sure we need to go that route, though.
