Something amazing happened. The spasms I was having in my right foot went away. At first I really did not notice it but in the past three days nothing at all. My feet just are a bit numb still. I wont hold my breath though as it may come back but I am going to enjoy it while I can.

Tony
I have had a similar experience with my legs. I still have a bit of numbness from the waist down to my feet, but the fatigue that I have had in my legs has seem to have subsided. It only appears to be from about 4 inches above my knees down, so walking isn't as bad as it was. Interesting your surgery was a month before mine!!!

That is good news.
Reading across the site, I had assumed that my foot, calf and leg spasms were here forever and I should just accept them as my new normal.
Since my surgery was in Dec 2007, perhaps there is hope.
It is great to hear that someone is making progress.

Hey John, I had spasms and tingling in my feet , especially the right one for over a year and a half. Then it just started going away. A lot of my numbness is easing up too. Not gone entirely, but surely better than it was. Hope you continue to heal. Cindy

Wow - that is great news!! It is so reassuring to hear that there is a possibility of some symptoms lessening over time. I'm not going to be foolish and say it's definitely going to happen - but just knowing that it might happen is a great thought to have in the back of the head.
Thanks for sharing that info!

Belief and hope is half the battle! I hope it keeps getting better and better. The pins and needles I get seem to come and go at will some days it never goes away and then bam one morning I'll get up and it's gone. It does return at different strengths but I do cherish those days that it's gone, I swear you feel 10 pounds lighter (Geez I wish it were 20, 30 or 40 pounds but that is a different story and a bigger pipe dream!!!!) Enjoy every minute of freedom you have!!
