I recently had my second surgery to remove ependymoma that had grown back. The first surgery in July 2007 they could not get the entire
tumor out. When my tumor started growing back my Neurosurgeon sent me to the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ and referred me to Dr Curtis Dickman. What a great
Doctor and facility. On 11/20/08 Dr Dickman removed 100% of my tumor. It was a very difficult surgery as my tumor was the same color & texture as my spinal cord, but he was still able to remove all of it. I am still walking with a walker but a great improvement in just 4 weeks. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs any nuero work. They are world known. People from as far away as China have come there for care.
