I'm not sure if you will remember me..this is Joyce Silversteen. Nichole ,my daughter passed away from a GBM 3yrs ago. I use to be active on the tumor board, which I found very helpful to us during her illness. I became friends with Carol Miller. We are now a chapter on the cord foundation...http://www.cordfoundation.org/ , we are Nicholes Cord foundation. We have had 3 fundraisers so far for the Cord Foundation and I'm having a 4th on Oct. 26th. One of the Cord Foundations research projects had just been named the Nichole Silversteen Research Chair.
We are having a Silpada Jewelry fundraiser on October 26th, in which the foundation will receive 20% of all sales. I was wondering if you could post something on your forum about this fundraiser, which supports research in spinal cord tumors. Of course there is no commitment ,but people can browse the online catalog, in case they would like to order something, for themselves while at the same time helping the foundation. She takes credit cards and checks as well. The jewelry is shipped right to your home. unfortunately I don't think the online catalog does this silver jewelry justice. It is extremely high quality .925 silver. I have a few pieces and I'm very happy with it.
