Okay, I need somebody to calm me down, and I just knew where to come...HERE! I have recently been experiencing prickly parts of my face and lips. Now, I'm thinking I might have a brain tumor started, I know I'm probably freaking over nothing, but does anyone else have this?

Given that you know the signs of what to look for, I'd say you're not freaking over nothing. I haven't had any symptoms for years, but around Christmas last year I started having numb patches and tingling in my arms where I'd never had any symptoms, it was all from my waist down before. I ignored it for a few months but a friend finally convinced me to go see the doctor about it. I had an MRI and saw the NS, no tumor regrowth thank goodness. The symptoms disappeared on their own, it was possibly carpal tunnel syndrome. I'm glad I did go do something in the end though, I'd still be thinking about it otherwise.
Nobody is going to think you're over-reacting given your history - go check it out!

I get prickly sensations on the left side of my face. Can feel it mostly when shaving. Likely not a brain tumor. Wouldn't hurt to have it checked out - right?

yes, I agree. Always go for the MRI whenever there is any question. Better for your peace of mind.
