A good day is when I can keep going on my feet all day with kind of a normal walk (normal for me, that is) and not getting too tired. Of course, the next day the legs just don't want to move:-P Barb
PS Joel, Wow! sounds like you have one full life!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're one lucky guy, do you know that!

For me, a really good day is one spent with my granddaughters (ages 5 1/2 and 16 months). They live about 5 hours away, so we aren't able to see them as often as we like. But we were just there this past weekend.
Even though I can't do everything I used to do with them, they don't care - they just are so delighted to see their Nana. Pain or no pain, I've just got to smile, laugh and relax when I'm with them.
In a lot of ways, there isn't a totally good day - - for me it's the pieces of the day that are good that matter. Waiting for those perfect days doesn't happen much, if ever - so I try not to wait for them.
So - other things that make a good day for me? A quiet day spent with my hubby, a nice dinner out with friends and/or just my hubby, a chat with a friend, etc.

A good day for me is sleeping in. Letting Joey take me for a walk, enjoying a pizza while I watch General Hospital. Ahhhhh, bliss!!! Cindy

Although we don't get too many cool days right now, but we will next month, I hope. GA is pretty mild, temp. wise. Hang in there everyone, and do what makes ya feel good!

Pain.........oh yes, we can all definitely relate to THAT! On top of all my post surgical pain (for almost a year now), now I have a bad rotator cuff and a bunion on my right foot. I wish I could just deal with one thing at a time, but I get all the whammies. Oh, yes, and on top of everything else, I pulled a quadricep muscle. I'm not sure how I'm even walking today, but I sub. at a local elem. school and I'm on a long term. assignment with Kindergarten!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't we just go to a body parts store, and replace what is not working, hurting, etc. But, the question was "what's a good day?" So, I'd have to say spending time with my children, even being able to walk and sub. and earn money to beef up our childrens' college funds, going out to dinner and a movie with all my pals from church, and of course, my Arbor Mist white zin...love it, love it, love it! guess we're really no different than others that have pain, we just can't describe it like they can. Hang in there everyone, and strive for many good days ahead.
