Will add my story later this weekend on people page, 57 years old male. Being treated at Sloan Kettering NY - willing to try other centers Taking 180mg Temador , Ondansetron, and having radiation treatment concurrently (no resection done, just biopsy) Questions; Where can I be tested for MGMT gene to see if Temador will be effective? Any other treatments for Grade 4 intramedullary spinal cancer?
Alpha Knife worth trying?
Clinical trials?
Thanks, Ken Maise

Sorry to hear...So, you've already had surgery, but only biopsy? How come no resection? Fast growing? Tell us a bit more, OK? Joel

Welcome to the forum, glad to have your here. Everyone on here has helped me out immensely!!! Wow, wish I could give some advice about any treatments for what you're going through. I can only offer where I was treated, and that was at MCG Medical Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. My neuro. was Dr. Mark Lee, who was wonderful and preserved my mobile functions, and I had a large tumor! Keep us posted on your progress and welcome to the forum.
