I just finished a book called "The Dive From Clausen's Pier." It is an interesting novel (fiction) regarding a young couple who deal with a spinal cord injury (obviously the dive from the pier didn't work out too well). I read the book because my wife has friends in common with the author, Ann Packer. It is written from the perspective of the woman who is engaged to the injury victim and women may enjoy it more (although Wenty would like it because the woman talks a good deal about her sex life). I just haven't read many books where one of the main characters is wheel chair bound and dealing with a lot of things that are discussed on our forum. Thought it may be of interest. It is well written. If you read it let me know what you think, it is thought provoking. Maybe we can have SCT book club discussion!
