Hi group,
I've been on this forum since my diagnosis and operation in 2012. My SCT cannot be removed but it is dormant due to 6 weeks' radiotherapy the same year. My question is, how will I know when the tumour wakes up? Anyone out there in the same boat?

Grade 2 intramedullary astrocytoma, diffuse and infiltrated, T9,10,11, operated on in Middlesbrough, UK, 29th May 2012. Inoperable but 5 biopsies taken by Mr. Sid Marks.

Not wake up. It's common for spinal cord astrocytoma to go a long time without growing. But severe pain will be ur res flag that something is wrong. Go to the Facebook! A lot of people are over there
