I was diagnosed in 1994 with an intramedulary C2 Ependyamoma at age 37. It was successfully removed in 1994.
In August of 2016, my son was diagnosed at age 37 with a glioblastoma multiforma IV. He died August 15, 2017.
Has anyone else’s family member been diagnosed with an Ependyamoma or other form of tumors?

Hi Ann, I'm 40 and they removed a stage 2 ependymoma from inside my spine 3 years ago. Mine went from T9-L2 and out the bottom of my spine. My Brother who is 2 years younger than me was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer a few months after they found mine. His body for some reason just started fighting back with no treatments! To this day he is cancer free! He is writing a book and his story is called #Notyet. Hope this helps.
