Hi!
Around beg. Of November this year I've been experiencing chronic dry cough. This made me very worried about condition of my lungs, so I went to pulmonologist and then for CT scan of my chest. Everything was fine with my lungs, however they have found some low density mass in Th9 right paravertebral space. Oval, well separated and not enhancing after contrast. This frightened me a lot, so I asked my neurologist for MRI. Results of MRI indicate that it may be Tarlov cyst or meningocele. I made a lot of reading in the meantime and it doesn't look like meningocele to me, especially that there is no connection with spinal cord or dura. It's about 2 cm away from core. I asked another radiologist for second opinion. He thinks that it may be cystic neurinoma of intercostal nerve, ganglion cyst, or nerve sheath cyst (Tarlov). Cystic neurinoma is his first guess and most probable. I'm wondering if anyone of you had similar findings? I already know that it must be exeedingly rare. I would be grateful for any info.
