Three removals so far, left ring finger, left ankle and left lumbar nerve (the worst of them all) all over 9 years ago. I'm now experiencing some intestinal issues along with severe stomach and back pain. After seeing a GI doctor I was diagnosed with IBS and started some very expensive medication...which has not helped. Long story short, I ended up in the ER three weeks ago and a CT was done. They found "nodules" in the lower left lung and some "enlarged lymph nodes" in my abdomen. An EGD was done with no findings as well as lab work. I am now taking tramadol for pain as Tylenol and ibuprofen no longer touch the pain. If I lay down the pAin seems better, worse with sitting and definitely worse with eating. I have mentioned my past schwannoma history to the GI doctor and it was shrugged off. I have a pea sized "tumor" in my neck, on the left, and have had a horse voice since last August. Was checked by an ENT and my vocal cords were fine. Sever sinusitis at the time. I also started experiencing leg/skin pain when sitting at work (cardiac monitoring 12 hour shifts). My intestinal issues really took off in March after I started exercises with a trainer once a week. My abdominal pain is so bad now I cannot exercise. Anyone experience Vagus nerve or abdominal Schwannoma? I'm at a loss! I see my Neurologist on Tuesday and I hope I can get some answers!
