Karen:
I am so sorry to hear that you have to deal with, yet, another medical hardship. Life is not fair and that is obvious but this just seems overwhelmingly unfair. I really do hope that there is life beyond this world so that there can be some measure of redemption for those who have had to struggle so mightily in this world. I will be thinking of you on Wednesday and hoping for a successful surgery and that the cancer is contained. I will pray for your strength and recovery and for all your caregivers and support network. Again, I am so sorry that you have to deal with this after all you have been through. When you feel well we would love to know how things went.

Karen, I will say a prayer as well on Weds. Just to let you know that a teacher at the school that I work at had stage 4 breast cancer last year. She went through a summer without hair, eyelashes, fingernails were black, had radiation, chemo etc. Eventually all her hair grew back looking sooooo healthy and today you would never know it. She looks exactly as she did before the surgery etc. (except for missing something :-)- but know one can tell). So there is another sucess story and I know that you will be to. :-) Keep us posted. Barb
