Hi I just saw this message. I'm in the same boat, collecting names for a possible 2nd surgery (sadly my previous neurosurgeon passed away). Here are a few names I got:
Dr. Noblett in Orange
Dr. Marshall in San Diego
Dr. Khoo at UCLA (I've heard praises for him, but also some negative ones about his manner)
