3 to 4 months post surgery, I was having delusional disassociated nightmares every night. I assumed it was because of all the opiates and Benoz's , so I got off those and started smoking marijuana. It wasn’t the only reason I got off the Pharma’s but the delusional disassociated nightmares stopped. I recently learned the Feds have made some deal with the medical community to drug test for marijuana so I went back on the tramadol and Xanax. Well the delusional disassociated nightmares every night started immediately again, so I guess the MJ suppressed them. I’ve been reading about damaged nerves systems (we all have) causing such dreams.
Any impute?

I don't have any wisdom to offer but I do know what it's like to be afraid to go to sleep at night because of vivid nightmares due to pharmaceuticals. My Rx wasn't related to my spinal tumor, but I had to get off of the medication that made me feel like I was living 7-8 hours of my life each night living in my own personal horror movie.

Have you tried ativan for your anxiety? Not sure if you have, but, when my father passed away in September I was waking up with really bad panic attacks. Ativan seemed to help me a lot.
