Once again I am in pursuit of something, just anything, that might help my neuropathy in left leg and foot. I've already tried: Lyrica, Gabapentin, Duloxetine, Amitriptyline, Baclofen and painkillers Tramadol, Cocodamol and Oramorph. I feel I'm on too many meds. I would just like to take ONE thing for pain and ONE thing for symptoms. If only. Has anyone been prescribed Sativex, which is medical cannabinoids? Apparently it is as effective as Gabapentin [Neurontin]. And on the pain forum, someone has had good results with [natural remedy] acetylcarnitine. Worst thing for me is the tightness after any exercise and the feeling of rubber bands tightly bound around each toe. Only thing that helps is lying like Elizabeth Barrett Browning on a couch all day. Hope you are all in shape to answer my age old question!

Well, I am meeting with my palliative care doc next week to run the idea of Sativex by her. It may not be on prescription in Wales. I had a terrible time with Lyrica nightmares and hypnogogic monsters coming at me. So I hope she will sign me off - it hasnt helped. Love to all, even tho you've been peeking at this post and not saying anything....

Hey funny walk,
I have a Medical Marijuana card in California and use it often. For me it works great and has no side effects. The issue with pain meds is that they are counter productive for bowl issues caused by SCT. The opiates also caused horrible dreams that freaked me out.
-Good health

I am allergic to Lyrica, Cymbalta and Neurontin so got my Medical Marijuana card in Washington. Seems to be helping the neuropathy quite a bit.

mmm interesting! I've got an appointment coming up with yet more pain relief docs. They can prescribe Sativex here, but only for MS. How do you take yours? Is it an oral spray? And is it just for relief, not to shrink tumour? Neuropathy is driving me bonkers and now I can feel it even when foot is stationary. Have asked for MRI as I think we are in a growth situation. Will keep coming back as everyone here speaks my language and out there, not many do. We are so rare!

Eating it is ideal but vaping and smoking works too. Sorry, it has been a long time since I checked in. I have also found that it is fantastic for spasticity. There are different strains and the sativas work best for me during the day,(no couch lock) and indica strains at night. I hope this helps.

Hello! I think you will like the vaporizer from gypsyvapes.com/ccell-silo-oil-vaporizer a lot for you. It is a great one which is also good for oil cartriges. I have been using it for vaping CBD a lot, and it is really great! Good luck with it, hope I was helpful

I need recommendations on such medicine too. Can you guys help me with it? I have found some interesting options at Canada Pharmacy online, and I think it is a really good place to get those. Have you tried some online pharmacies?
