This is my first posting. Ten years ago, I had a partial laminectomy of a spinal ependymoma, followed by a L4-L5-S1 fusion. I have been living in constant pain in my legs ever since. After doing some research, I though I'd try capsaicin creams (Zostrix and Zuacta). But I woke up one morning, and my lips and tongue were burning, like I had been sucking on a chili pepper, even though I'm positive I hadn't touched them during the night, like my doctor keeps claiming. I would like to try again, but I'm concerned about that feeling, whether it was an allergic reaction.
In addition to the pain, my posture is always stooped forward, and I can't straighten up and breathe at the same time. I'd really like to have the hardware removed from my spine, but I'm not sure it would solve the problem.

At the moment, I'm on 10 mg of baclofen, along with Remeron. I didn't take my meds last night, and I was miserable. Which got me wondering whether I should try taking part of it at night, and part during the day.
