Hi Linda, I've been a past member but can't seem to login. Don't know if you've got the conference entirely planned yet, but I would be willing to speak. I'm giving several talks this spring about my experience of re-occuring ependymoma that has made me wheelchair dependent but that has not stopped me from doing anything. I'm a successful occupational therapist in a small community. Just thought I'd offer. I'm just so glad the forum is back up and running!! Jennifer D

Jennifer, It took me a while to figure out this new site. It is not as user friendly as the other. Look up at the top where it says log in and you'll give your user word and password and then your profile. Every time you come on you can read these posts but have to log in before you answer. LInda, Wish Chris and I could come to this conf. but our son gets married 2 weeks before. Our other son gets married in 2009. So far 2010 looks good and maybe we can finally get some money together for that conf. :-)

Hi Jennifer,
I'm sorry but at this time we don't have any place for an extra speaker. I wish we did but with 9 speakers already and SCTA wants to have some time to share our accomplishments since we will be 5 years old on June 12th and a few more speakers in another breakout room we are book. Unless you could talk to the parents about OT that would work but you may only have a few in there. What do you think about that? If so, we will get one more speaker and let that be it for the parents. Friday will be the only time for the breakout room. Let me know if that will work for you.
~Linda
PS: It good to see you back on the board.

Linda, What do I have to do to attend the conference? As a reminder, my 3 year old daughter has an astrocytoma. I live about 30 minutes away from Itasca so I won't be staying at the hotel. Thanks. Denise (Kim's mom)

Denise,
We will have a web page up next month hopefully by April 2nd. With that will be a registration form for those who will be attending to fill out and send back to SCTA. Cost will be $100.00 per adult, kids 12 and under free and kids 13-18 will be $60.00. The reason we went up on the registration fee the cost of this conference is more expensive. This fee will cover the meet n greet reception on Thursday night, Friday's breakfast, Saturday's lunch and afternoon snacks on Friday & Saturday.
