I just posted as well in the general forum. Dr. Paul Arnold or Dr. Philip Hylton at KUMed in Kansas City, has anyone heard of them or been to see either of them. Also should I base some of my choice of neuro on their bedside manner or just deal with that even if its terrible knowing they are said to be an excellent surgeon? Thanks guys for the input.

I have not heard of either of these neurosurgeons. Deborah had a good experience with a KC surgeon, you might want to check him out: "Dr Stephen Reintjes is my neurosurgeon. He's with Kansas City Neurosurgery Group. He's the BEST doctor I've ever seen, bar none. He works out of North Kansas City Hospital, which is an excellent hospital if you're going to have surgery. I highly recommend him." I'm not sure about considering bedside manner, though I'd certainly consider after-surgery care. I'd ask lots of questions like: - How many of these surgeries have you done?
- Tell me about the outcomes of your patients please. What is your surgery complication rate?
- What rehab can I expect to need and where would I go for that?

I only heard of this " Dr. Paul Arnold" through other forums. He is one of the recommended surgeon in Kansas and most of the feedbacks are really good. so i think I have to trust those patients too under him and I think he is really good.
