The whole Neurosurgery team as well as Radiation Oncology at Univ. of Pennsylvania Hospital is exceptional. They have extensive resources and a team approach to reviewing your case. They are all very caring and attentive to your needs. Dr. Malhotra reviewed my recurrence of a benign meningioma at C7-T2 and actually recommended at this point to try radiation to stop the growth rather than risk a complicated surgery. The radiation seems to have stopped the growth at 9 months out. To me, it's just as important that a surgeon recommends not having surgery if there is a better alternative and I am grateful. www.pennmedicine.org/neurosurgery/
