I have recently had a MRI and they found a tumor and cysts that go from my cervical spine to my lumbar. The neurosurgeon I saw here in Oklahoma seemed stumped by my scans. I have found some images online of holocord Astrocytoma that look very much like my MRIs, but I can't find any information about it, and I don't know what to do next. I'm a thirty year old mother of four and I went to the doctor because of pain , numbness and weakness in one of my legs and the results were so unexpected. I have attached one of the pics from my MRI. Any thoughts?
Thank you!

I too, am brand new to this spinal cord tumor journey. I immediately followed the advice I was given and am passing it on to you. Send your films to Dr. George Jallo at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Division of Neurosurgery, 600 N Wolfe Street, Harvey 811, Baltimore, Maryland 21287. His email is gjallo1@jhmi.edu
He rec'd my films and email'd an answer to me as well as consulted with my GP. According to this forum, he is one of the best.
I hope you find some help!
