I would love to have an in person support group. It would be so nice to meet people in person. It seems as everyone is so spread out. Does any one know if spinal cord tumors are really rare? I never met any one with one in person. I guess they are...suzzie

We are one in a million. Literally.
Sorry I'm not from NJ. I'm from a city of approx 5 million and I haven't been able to find anyone with an intramedullary ependymoma (my kind of spinal cord tumour).

Hi,
I have recently been diagnosed with intramadullary tumor at C7 -T1. I live in Hillsborough NJ. I was diagnosed on Monday last week. My neuro surgeon wants to do surgery at the earliest.

Checkout the spinal cord tumor support group on Facebook, too. The group is quite active and you will probably find more NJ people there!
