Hello everyone,
It's been a while since I posted a message on a board. But, I come and read some of your messages.
Some of you know that my Mom is a survivor of SCT. She had 3 surgeries and at last the Neurosurgeon removed it all.
Like each year, my Mom had her MRI. No trace of the tumor. We were very happy. But my Mom has a lot of problems because of the tumor. It seems that her spine has some problems. The spine is not straight. So, she has to wear a soft cervical collar for 3 to 4 months. She has to wear the collar all day.
She has difficulties with her neck. She has difficulty to keep her head straight.
The Neurosurgeon talk to us about a fusion. But he said that because of her age ( 70 years old), it may not be a good idea. Maybe with the collar it will help.
We will see the NR in august or september and see what happen. My Mom doesn't want to have another operation. I don't want either.
My Mom is a very determinate person so she will follows what the doctor orders.
