Schwanoma removed by him. Complete removal and great outcome; no problems whatsoever. Told he is the guy for nerve sheath tumors and I flew from out-of-state just to have him perform surgery. He does surgery; not a psychologist.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Patrick Johnson. I had a severe problem: spondylolisthesis causing stenosis with radiating pain and numbness in my legs making it impossible for me to stand or walk more than 2 minutes. I needed fusion of my L4, L5, S1. I have a very good friend who has know Dr. Johnson since college. Even though I had already consulted with Dr. Burak Ozgur at Hoag and believed he was an excellent choice of doctors to perform the fusion surgery I needed, my friend urged my to consult with Dr. Johnson. So, I called Dr. Johnson to make an appointment for a consultation. Dr. Johnson personally returned my call. He told my our mutual friend had told him I had consulted with Dr. Burak Ozgur at Hoag. Dr. Johnson then surprised me by telling me that he and Dr. Ozgur previously worked together. Then, he told me that I should stay with Dr. Ozgur as he is also a top neurosurgeon. I did have the surgery with Dr. Ozgur and it was an amazing success (I am ready to resume my karate practice at age 70). Thank you Dr. Johnson for your time and wise advise.
