Hey, so I had a REALLY bad experience with Patrick Johnson at Cedars. He is supposed to be their "top guy" but he is really rough with patients, doesn't give you any good information and refuses to discuss your case with other NS even if he knows them. My surgical outcome was a disaster -- went in with NO symptoms, came out spinal cord injury asia c (eg. in a wheelchair). If anyone wants details message me.

Has anyone here had a positive outcome with Dr Johnson regarding surgery? I am due to have a tumor removed from Thorasic spine soon. I am in Los Angeles and would appreciate any suggestions regarding a good NS of the spine. Anymore information about Dr Johnson would be appreciated. If you want to email me privately, I will give out my address... Thank you everyone...my wish as that we all come out with a mostly perfect and doable outcome...

Zoela, I'm from LA and have seen a few there. I was diagnosed in October 2010 with a tumor in at c7-t1 and still haven't had surgery but go for check ups. I'm not sure what kind of insurance you have but my favorite NS ended up being at Kaiser Permanente on Edgemont- Harsimran Brara. There is a short thread about him. If you have any more questions or want to chat, feel free to email me. I'll send you a private message right now.

Pat Johnson did my spinal surgery, and I think he's the best surgeon you can find. I was nearly unable to walk a year ago May, due to a spinal cyst I didn't realize I had. He completely restored my walking and mobility. Professional, experienced, a very nice but quiet guy. Yes, he is busy... okay, maybe he didn't sit and chat.... but do you want chat, or do you want the best surgeon for spinal surgery?
