Just diagnosed with glial tumor. Have appointment with Dr. Paul McCormick @ Columbia Presbyterian in NYC. Anyone been to see him? We understand his expertise is microsurgical techniques in neurosurgery.

Angela ("Lepetitangel") just flew from the West Coast to see Dr. McCormick earlier this month. You could write to her to ask about her appointment. I don't remember her saying anything negative about him.

I went to see him for a second opinion and he would not due surgery on me said it was to risky of paralysis.

Dr. Paul McCormick will be removing my large, calcified meningioma in cervical 1-2 up into the foramen magnum, mid January. He has an excellent reputation as does the hospital Columbia Presbyterian. Great bedside manor, confident and competent. Took time to answer all our questions and explain the surgery.
