Dr. John K. Hsiang. I would recommend Dr. Hsiang 100% without reservation. I had a very quick recovery time thanks to Dr. Hsiang's minimally invasive surgical techniques. He didn't have to cut into the bone to get to my tumor even though it was inside the spinal cord. Amazing!!

I also highly recommend Dr. Hsiang. I am very glad I took the trip from Portland to Seattle to see him. He was the only doctor I saw that also told me I had a herniated disk along with the tumor. Do to the size of my tumor, I did have to have a laminectomy, but I am recovering quickly.

Does anyone have any input about his colleague Sarah Jost? I have seen her once in regard to surgery and was not that impressed with her.

I too LOVED Dr. Hsiang, I had a T2-T4 laminectomy 10/19/2010 to remove a cyst that was also attached to the dura. He did a wonderful job and I was so pleased with the care I got at Sweedish! Would defenitely go to them again if needed.
