I've been diagnosed on 6 Nov 2017 with an Ependymoma of 5cm from T2-T4. On both sides there is a syrinx of 6 cm. Totalling an area of 17 cm.
I was wondering how big other members Ependymomas are? I need to make a decision on surgery. The neurosurgeon want to operate immediately, but I am postponing to January 2018 to get more opinions and advise.
Any advise on how to decide when to have surgery or not would be highly appreciated. I would also like to make contact with patients who have tumors in the same area.
