I had partial resection of Intramedullary Ependymoma C7 – T3 Nov 2016. The doctor and literature I read all said the more you walk after surgery the quicker you will recover. For the first 4-6 weeks after surgery that worked. However, after that the more I walked the more my tightness and skin sensitivity spread and got worse. The same is true for physical therapy and exercise. The doctor told me no pain no gain but it is hard to keep doing something that makes my condition worse. Has anyone else experienced this?
