So I just got news of a new Ependymoma after having 2 grade 2's completely resected at the beginning of 2014. It grew to 8mm in 6 months. Is that normal? Because that seems aggressive for an Ependymoma.

Dec 2013- Diagnosed/ two separate thoracic, grade 2 Ependymomas removed completely. Brain MRI clear
March 2014 - Month of radiation
Feb 2017 - 8mm recurrence at L3
April 2017 - recurrence completely resected
July 2017 - MRI reveals multiple small nodules/enhancement along spinal cord as well as a 2cm asymptomatic intracranial mass (Didn't receive any follow up brain MRI's after Dec 2013 and I requested one just to be safe)
Oct 2017 - Stable MRI, currently in observation mode.

But truthfully, who knows! Sadly it grew nearly 11mm in 9 mos.
