I am just over a year post op and still get the tingling sensation in both feet. I am currently taking gabepentin for the nerve pain. Most of the time my feet feel heavy and asleep. I have sensation in both feet (Temperature/touch) however it feels internally in both feet there is still this strange feeling. My doctor has told me if we subside with time. Being 13 months post op it has gotten better since my surgery but it still lingers. Does anyone have or had these strange sensations in the feet? Has it improved over time? I also occasionally get a mild burning sensation in my feet as well. I believe its the nerves being irritated and trying to heal.

I'm 14 months post op and a still having a tingling/pain sensation in both feet and legs. My main issue is the pain in bottom of feet when walking/standing/etc. but wearing running shoes all the time (except for sleeping and showering) makes it bearable for the most part. I didn't have the pain before surgery and do feel that it has been improving over time but I often question whether it's improving or I'm just getting used to it. I stopped taking the gabapentin as I felt it was making me drowsy and wasn't helping much with the pain. Have your conditions continued to improve?

Well, it's been 11 years for me post-op and I still get that in both feet. I switched to Lyrica and found it to be much better than gabapentin, after you go through the extreme sleepiness stage when you first start taking Lyrica. I've been on Lyrica for maybe 5 years now. WRT the foot tingling, you do get used to it.

I have the same feeling in my feet and parts of my legs. I was just diagnosed. Two weeks ago. My feet have been this way for over a year.
