I have a family member with a huge SCT at young age. I presume most people that post here probably still have issues with them. I'm just keeping my hopes that there are cases that people makes full or almost full recovery, but they don't post cause they have moved on happily. Yet I'm haven't read anything like that online yet. Hope you guys could share some positive stories if you have heard any.

Hi Pete,
A friend of mine had an ependymoma removed from his lumber spine 6 or so years back and he has made a pretty much full recovery. You would never know that he ever had a problem.
I too have made a pretty good recovery. I climbed an Alp in May and did a month of field work in Brazil in April. I never did that before the two operations.
I only pop in from time to time to this board to share the positive side.
Faith and hard work move mountains.
