Why didn't they do pin point radiation therapy in place of waiting to see if the tumor would grow, same with the other tumors? This really baffles me???
As for recovery, everyone is different so that up to the Gods. I don't want to scare you but the higher towards the brain the more risk. Yours is as close as it gets.

It worked for my uncle and his was at the same location as yours. Stopped growth, 25 years post now and he didn't need surgery. My NS told me if mine started regrowth they would just zap it with radiation and kill the growth. Both our tumors were not malignant and both were nerve sheath tumors .
