So, if you would, tell us, where do you have the most pain at?
From a scale of 1-10 where do you rate? About a four all day, spiking to a 7 sometimes, usually after I stand at physio. My pain meds are: 300 mg lyrica 10 mg time release morphine
Is your pain all the time, off and on or mostly at night? All the time throughout the day, however I sleep fine at night, never wake from pain, but take a 25 mg of nortriptylene at night for sleep, but no pain meds at night, my 2nd 150 mg dose of lyrica is at 5 pm
Describe your pain? At and around the incision sight, burning, stinging, jumping nerve pain. also, right now I am receiving botox treatments in my left calf for high spasticity, at 3 mos intervals, but towards month three they start to wear off. This triggers painful spasms in my left leg when I transfer from chair to bed, that, when I lay flat, travel up my back and can cause painful spasms in my back. I also periodically have painful back spasms that just appear out of nowhere.

Shoulder. It was paralyzed andthe scapular muscles didn't come back on their own. At times it could hover around 8,9 and even 10. I was popping 6 Ibuprofen a day. Finally, I saw a shoulder specialist and he gave me a set of exercises to repeat daily. After about 3 or 4 months I stopped having to take Ibuprofen. There still is pain, but I can go mfor about four hours upright sitting before it really bugs me anymore. I feel like I'm definitely still improving, just agonizingly slow.

My pain is scaled at a 10 everday, with pain meds it's between 2-4. The pain is located in the thoractic spine, on the spine itself between T1-T4.
It feels like sever burning, stabbing and throbbing. It radiates all the way to my chest and upper arms. Weakness and a little numbness in my legs.

I forgot to mention that the pain is bad at all times but night time and mornings are REALLY bad, I have no pain meds in my system at those times so that probably doesn't make it any better

HI MY PAIN IS PRETTY MUCH THERE ALL THE TIME..THE ONLY TIME I DON'T FEEL IT IS WHEN I AM DISTRACTED FROM IT ..AND I WISH I COULD NE DISTRACTED ALL OF THE TIME. BUT THATS NOT REALITY. MY PAIN IS FROM THE WAIST DOWN AND MORE NUMBNESS IN MY FEET AND WHEN ITS COLD I DON'T FEEL LIKE I HAVE FEET. ITS VERY DEPRESSING AND FRUSTRATING. JUST KNOWING THAT THE TUMOR IS GONE BUT IAM LEFT WITH THIS CHRONIC PAIN...I JUST WANT TO S SCREAM SOMETIMES BECAUSE ITS VERY HARD TO EXPRESS TO OTHERS WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND OUR PAIN..ITS AN INVISIBLE THING PEOPLE CANT SEE OUR PAIN...AND ITS HARD TO DESCRIBE TO OTHERS...

So, if you would, tell us, where do you have the most pain at?
From a scale of 1-10 where do you rate? - 8or 9: first 2 mos. post surgery in neck, right arm, shoulder, lower back and feet - 4 or 6: neckrigifity and aches, buzzing/burning/tightness in right arm buttock, leg and foot - 3 : numbness and tingling sensaations in right hand, arm and foot. Numb buttock, spasms in the neck and back, lower back pain and uncomfortable sitting or standing too long.
Is your pain all the time, off and on or mostly at night? - Off and on and varies due to weather and wether i've worked out and stretched enough. Spasms mostly at night right should, back and down the right leg. Rigidity, and numbness in neck almost constant. Taking Neurontin for nerve pain and flexiril for spams. Takes the edge off so I can sleep.

My name Lisa, I'm 46 years old. I was diagnosed with a C-3-C5 intramadullary lipoma in 2001. I also have Cerebral Palsy, all my life I have had progressive neurological problems, since progression is not common with CP, looking back on it now, it was probably the tumor. I also developed severe scoliosis as a child. Of course, there were no MRI's in the '70's, so the tumor wasn't diagnosed until I became incontient 10 years ago. The tumor could not be totally removed so it was "debulked". PAIN--- Within the past year or so, I have developed more problems with pain- particularly ear pain and headaches. Sometimes reaching at least an 8 out of 10. Has anyone else experienced this type of pain?

It is pain and the unpleasant sensations both-sometimes the sensations (burning and super sensitivity around the waist, numb toes) bother me more. The pain is located mostly on the right side close to the waist line. It is 3-4 level most of the time. It increases during the periods of inactivity At its worst it feels like an intermittent stabbing.

I had a C2-5 ependymoma removed. My pain level daily goes from a 5-9, depending upon what I'm doing.
My pain is constant, and worse at night.
The type of pain that I feel is burning, pressure and muscle spasm at the site of the surgery, and burning, tingling buzzing pain on the left side of my body, which is completely numb and spastic. My left foot can burn so badly that I can't walk. I take Neurontin (which I don't think is working too well), Tramadol, Diclofenac, and Wellbutrin. Even on all of this stuff, I hurt but it would be way worse without it. I'm thinking of going to a pain mgmt specialist, as my primary care doctor doesn't get why I need so many meds. I'm very glad to be walking on my own though.

Where do you have the most pain at? Both hands and left arm. The hands have a crampy burning feeling and my left arm has hypersensitivity. A feather brushing across it hurts.
From a scale of 1-10 where do you rate? Most days 6-7. Some days higher. I'm on 1800 mg daily gabapentin along with vicodin and valium.
Is your pain all the time, off and on or mostly at night? All of the time
Describe your pain? The hands have a crampy burning feeling and my left arm has hypersensitivity. A feather brushing across it hurts. My neck sometimes aches and my head feels too heavy for my neck.
