yeah, Ed Grimley! Or rather, Ed's fat grandad! Man, and add a little wind to the equation, and wow, I can hardly go from point A to B. I was talking to my 83 year-old father today--he remarked that I was the only guy he knew who walked slower than he did!

I've just started going to a chiropractor, and the massage therapist there has been working with me a lot on my posture. I am 2 years post-op and my shoulders and head lean forward too much. The therapist says if I can correct my posture, it could eliminate a lot of my pain and discomfort. He has me doing daily stretching exercises to retrain my muscles in my neck area. My acupuncturist and PT have also told me how important stretching is to my recovery. I'm just now starting to listen, so time will tell if the daily stretching exercises will work.

Yessssssssssssssss, I too have horrible posture and feel like my stomach is large also. I totally did not have this either before my surgery. I feel like I have gained so much weight. It's probably because I am not as active as I was. I used to ride horses and do tons of barn work. I am currently on coumadin for some serious blood clots that I got after surgery. So, for now, I don't want to risk a brain bleed if I were to fall off my horse. I have one that I would trust to carry me around, but with my luck, it would be "the day" I tried that I would fall! Hang in there and exercise when you can, and whatever level you can obtain...good luck!!!
