Hi! What is the current state of your kyphosis? Did you ever wear a milwaukee brace for an extended period of time? I read thru your blog and you mentioned that the bracing made things worse? Just wondering if you could give me more details? I've posted recently under realmccoys...you can read my dilemna. Thanks!

Hi realmccoys,
well you have to remeber I'm taking about 38 year ago, the brace I had was not fitted probably to me, I had to fit it...they had the right idea but not enough experience way back then, the brace had a chin support that I remeber was very unconformable, they used to push my head and neck foward into this chin support instead of up straight...of cause they soon realised it was causing more problems, it was un-natural postion....it cause an overbite & problems with me teeth...todays braces are very much different & proven to be of great benefit.....my kyphosis is very bad almost a 90 degree curve....I kicked & screamed so I wouldn't wear that brace, i'm glad I did...because it caused my kyphosis to be much wose...
