About a year and a half ago there was an interesting discussion about Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment. When Bridget indicated that she'd had proprioception return as a result of her HBOT treatments, I looked into it in my area. I was turned away from the one place that offers HBOT because my condition was not on their approved list.
Then today, my chiropractor asked me about HBOT as he thinks I could benefit from it. I told him about being turned away from the wound care center, and it turns out that he has a portable (?) unit. Now that it looks like I am getting a second chance at HBOT, I'm wondering if anyone else has tried HBOT and how it has worked for them. And Bridget, a year and a half after you regained your proprioception, do you still have it? Do you still have HBOT treatments?
Thanks, Alison

Alison: I did try it after reading about Bridget's wonderful outcome. Unfortunately, it did nothing for me. It was 2 years after surgery, and I did it on 2 separate occasions, so maybe those things were the cause of my results. I am of the opinion that you should try everything you can afford. A few people worried too, that HBO might actually CAUSE tumor regrowth, so that is an issue here too. Sorry to be so wishy-washy. Joel
