Chris (Chickiet) is recovering after her third surgery, and her husband Dennis asked that I put this up on the site:
Chris is doing fairly well. She got out of ICU yesterday and was up walking some today. There is more neuropathy in her right leg and foot than before but she appears to be getting better day by day. They are trying to decide whether she will go to in-patient rehab or home rehab. Her spirits are great and she asked that you tell everybody at the SCTA board hi. We'll give you more update soon.

I will keep her in my prayers. Hopefully third time will be a charm. What strenght and determination it must take to go through this not just once but three times. Thanks for the update Joel.

Chris has now developed some type of infection it seems, so she is back in the ICU and receiving treatments. Will keep you posted...

the latest news is good:
Chris' fever has broken, her blood pressure is down, and she is much more coherent this morning. They are going to keep her in ICU for a little longer to monitor her blood pressure,
but the doctors seem optimistic that she will continue to get better and start up the physical therapy again soon.
Looks like all the positive energy is working!
