I think someone mentioned that having regional get-togethers might be a good idea. I live in Western PA. I know Cindy is in Erie, not so far away. I think there are other members in the general area, maybe we could all plan to meet somewhere for lunch or dinner?

C2 Hemangioblastoma with cyst from brainstem to C3, surgery 1/22/2008. Doing well!

	Barb-One of SCTA Sunshine Girls Two surgeries for an ependymona, second one done by Dr. Jallo. the surgeries were done in 2002/2003 and 98% of tumor was removed. As of this date, left with deficits but staying positive and keeping mobile!

	Laminectomy C6-T2 to remove meningioma benign tumor, June 10, 2008. Performed by Dr. Kyle Mangels of Oklahoma Spine and Brain Institute. Second surgery July 6, '08 to track down infection, none found just body fluids pooling on surface of muscles right under skin. Now walking with a cane short distances. Bladder and bowel function are almost good as new! Thank you Jesus and Dr. Mangels

We used to live in OKC, but now are in the Washington, DC area. I've got to say one thing - when they sing "where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain" - they aren't kidding (and that's without a tornado)!!

Anyone in the DC area? I did get the chance to meet Richard when he got back from Iraq and was at Walter Reed for a checkup - - it was so nice to meet someone with this common bond.

Grade II Intramedullary Ependymoma at C6. Aborted surgery in Sept 2007 followed by resection in Nov 2007, both at Walter Reed Army Medical Center by Dr. Patrick Cooper.

	1983: Intramedullary astrocytoma C3-7 causing paralysis from the neck down. Removal and radiation therapy with extensive physical therapy. Near full recovery.
