Interesting story - a lot to go through - issues with colon/bowel a great shame - so many side effects of our condition/surgery.
I hope you continue to improve. Alison

So many effects from the surgery. But you made it! And you still sound so full of hope. I wish you the best, Donna. You've made it this far, I'm sure you'll get to the cane yet. I hope you keep on improving. Hugs, Cindy

Donna: I thank God you're alive and from what I read, strong and ready to do battle no matter what. I'm so sorry you have gone through all you've gone through.
It's been three years and a half since my surgery and I'm still battling with issues related to my surgery. I want to thank your husband for being by your side and pray that he continues to stay by your side in the years to come. I know my wife Nilda has been the greatest support I've had all this three years and a half. It'll be hard on your marriage, as we have experienced, but you'll make it through with God's help and the love you have nurtured up to this point in your lives. Please ask him to watch his own health. My wife now has health problems with acid reflux and blood pressure for which she now takes medication. Be sure to find a good marriage counselor or psychologist, preferably a neuro psychologist who can understand your condition better.
We're here to help. Stay in touch!
Oscar

Hi Donna, I know you will reach your goal, stay strong and stay determined, you have been through so much, only good things should happen for you in the future. I, like you, will never give up until I reach my goal, which is to walk with a walker, I picture it every day and I know it will happen. Stay strong girl, I'm pulling for you, thinking of you, Lynne
