All, I am not sure what is going on with me. Friday night I felt great, well okay not great but my usual self. Saturday was awesome for the first time in a long time I felt well perfect. I mean no pain and very little tightness. Then blam on Sunday I feel like I got hit by a truck. Increased tightness and just the overall muscle cramping type pain. I have no idea what I did or did not do but man what a change. Has anyone felt this happen to them.

I hope you feel better. Take it easy- sometimes I find I get severely increased pain and tingling when I am coming down with something- Its like a warning that I am about to get sick. Hope you get back to the way you were soon.

I have had sudden worsening of symptoms also. I think I almost might be feeling pretty good (I hate to think about it too hard, might jinx it) only to have days when it gets suddenly worse. Starting Monday of this week it happened to me. My pain is worse and my arm and shoulder, even my index finger feels all tight again (I thought it was muscle spasms, but the spinal cord rehab doctor said he didn't see any). It feels like someone is pulling on my clavicle. I think it is just a sensory thing. It seems to me it is when the weather changes and rain is coming in, but I know that is crazy.

Susan, It is funny you say Monday this week because mine started on Sunday and has gotten a bit better. I do agree that when the weather changes we feel it as the sensory nerves are all over the place when the Barometer changes. I bet others will agree with this as well.

I had my granddaughter for the week last week, so I am in much worse pain after that. She is almost 4 now, and with her mom being pregnant, she has not gotten to play much at home. So she wore me and my wife out. I think she even wore out the dogs. I always do more than I am suppose to when she is here because I have so much fun. But it comes with knowing that their will be much more pain. Oh well, she is the best pain killer I have ever found. She loves coming to the country. anyhow, I hope you all find some relief.

I'm in the hurricane part of the world and when the barometer changes I can tell a big difference. When the hurricane or bad weather passes away my aches, pain, numbness, tingling gets better. So it not crazy at all. So if someone wants to be a weather forcaster your SCT can help you out and hey why not make some big bucks along the way we can at least get it right more so than anyone else.

Wow! it's a relief to hear some of you talk about how the weather affects you. I thought I was the only one. I love the way Linda put it.
Does anyone experience tiny shocks when a lightning goes off in the distance like I do?
Hi tony: The only thing I can think of would be to read up on some of the medications you may be taking and make sure you're not being affected negatively by them also. I know that for myself it took a long time before I realized that Tramadol (200 mg a day) was actually hurting me more than benefitting me. My physiatrist and my neurologist seemed to be very OK with me taking it (and many others they wanted to prescribe) for the rest of my life. Well, I decided to wean myself off of it and I'm down to 80 mg a day and my symptoms haven't worsened, but it has taken me 6 months to come down from 200 mg to 80 mg. It's a slow process, but I now know I was right. I'm looking forward to being rid of medications completely.

Oscar, I don't have the shocks with lightening, but I do have them with a loud startling noise. It's really freaky huh? And very hard to describe to someone what it's like.

I have to say Florida is the worst state for lightening but I never had shocks from that. Oscar didn't I read on one of your post you had a fusion with screws and plates? I am fused to from C2-T2 with screws and plates so that might be why you had the shocks. I can be in the shower with the hot water pouring over my back and have electrial shocks. Also I can tap the back of my neck and have electical shocks go through my body as well.
