I START CHEMO ON THURSDAY. I'LL BE TREATED WITH 3 DRUGS. THOSE SESSIONS WILL BE EVERY 3 WEEKS LASTING 5 HRS. I THAN GO EVERY WEEK FOR MY HER2+ CANCER TARGET DRUG HEPARTIN. AFTER 6 SESSIONS I START RADIATION THERAPY. I,VE DECIDED TO GET MY HAIR SHAVED AFTER THE FIRST SESSION SINCE EVERYONE SAYS IT STARTS TO FALL OUT AFTER 7 DAYS.
GOOD NEWS WAS MY PET SCAN SHOWED NO CANCER SPREAD!
I HAVE TO ADMIT I AM SCARED AND NERVOUS. WISH ME LUCK AND CONTINUE PRAYERS. I'LL TRY TO KEEP YOU UPDATED. NOT SURE HOW NERVOUS SYSTEM WILL REACT TO THIS.
THANKS, KAREN

Thats good news form the PET Scan! Good luck, and will be thinking of you and sending you the best wishes. How long is your hair? Can you donate it to Locks for Love? At least then, that would be a good thing. Best wishes and good thoughts.

Karen..will be thinking of you and sending plenty of good vibes your way. Doing a mammo and followup this week, will keep you posted. My radiation wasn't bad, just the fatigue was a killer. But after the radiation I have become very tender in that area..I forsee my mammo being a torture test, but I have stocked up on my meds and am prepared for battle. The Pet scan news you shared was wonderful. Hugs to you fellow warrior!!! Cindy
