Excellent programme - I've been enjoying it here in England on my pc - This weeks episode was hard to see a family lose a 9 year old. Alison

I didn't see this post but, when I saw the show name Hopkins I decided to record it with the DVR. Luckily it was Dr. Jallo's epidsode. An amazing man. It really amazes me when he replies to an email of mine on the fourth of July within two hours of when I sent it. He has been helping me with MRI films since 2001. He always gives an honest opinion and I dont know what I would have done sometimes without him. A truely great man.

Glad you mentioned this show, I'm new and wouldn't have caught it otherwise. The show intro had a huge hospital reminiscent of the one in the "House" TV show, and I was half expecting to see a rude, surly, Dr House type show up. Instead, there was a warm, caring, supportive, and encouraging Dr Jallo! I sent my husbands MRI's to Dr Jallo a couple of weeks ago, and he replied the same day he received them! These tumours are such scary things, it sure helps to helps to have an informed opinion by Dr Jallo. And I now have a place to start in researching this condition. So it was great to see that show and meet Dr Jallo "in person", sort of. Judine

Joel, I DON'T BELIEVE IT! I just found this show 2 weeks ago and then on the 24th I forgot that it was on until 20 mins. after the beginning. You mean I missed Dr. Jallo!!!!!!!!!!! This is why I have been watching it. I agree that it is a very, very, very, touching show and it has made me cry. In fact, when I saw an elderly woman about to loose her husband 2 weeks ago and she was crying I immediately called my son, who is in med. school, and asked him how in the world will he ever be able to seperate himself from these situations. If you missed the show, you can still watch it on your computer (for free) at: abc.go.com/player/It's "week 5" of Hopkins. Better hurry though. I don't know how long ABC keeps each show available on the internet. Teresa

It was great to finally "meet" Dr. Jallo. I was a bit disappointed they didn't show more of a follow-up with the boy who had the brain surgery. I also would have loved to see more of Dr. Jallo. So far from the emails, he seems like an amazing person. I'm currently waiting to hear his opinion on my son's July 3rd MRI.

Hi Vanessa,
If you go to the ABC website it gives some patient updates (written detail). It tells you more about the boy treated by Dr. Jallo
