Hi all,
Just wanted to say it good to see some familiar names back on the forum. I was talking to two tonight and hopefully they will be back on here soon. There is times we all need a break from here but it also good to know when you need the group they are here or if you can help someone from your experience.
Just wanted to let Bill, Margaret know we do remember you both and welcome back!

Hi Linda, thanks for the nice welcome back. I never went far away, but all the hassles with the board changing made me give up for a while. It seems like its a place where people pop in and out of as they need it, but it is probably nice for people who are in the midst of dealing with their tumours to know there are people who have been through it all and returned to some sort of 'normal' life. You are doing a great job, holding things together here after all these years. Good luck with the conference, would love to go but a trip across the Pacific is not on the 'can do' list right now.

You are welcome Bill! Yes, the forum problems did hurt us and it was very frustrating when you couldn't post. One thing we did learn from the experience was the forum was our partcipants life line without this SCTA wouldn't survive.
Thanks for the remark about my work on here. I have been around for 8 years with five of those years being with the SCTA thanks to Robert I was able to take something bad that had happen in my life to make something good come from it. Which is a blessing. I can understand your not able to come to the conference this time when you are so far away. It seems like this was a bad year for the conference but we had no idea of knowing that in the beginning so we will make the best of the situation and either way it will be a great conference.
