Hi everyone, I was to two functions this weekend and two people wanted to know why I still have trouble walking after 5 yrs and the tumor being removed. I try to have them understand how cutting into your spinal cord and monkeying around with nerves will do that. I also kept bringing up the SCTA and telling them how I always can come to this support group when I have questions because you're the only ones that can relate to me. Thanks guys for being here ;D Barb

Well I saw my old work colleagues on Friday just gone and they say the usual, 'you look well'. Whilst this is great, it is hard (but understandable) when trying to give them an insight into how nerves damage has many weird ways. I tend not to go into too much detail these days, as we usually find other things to chat about. Our surgeries change us forever, but it's not all bad.
