Okay, now that I have pretty much got used to having bumps and lumps come up in all kinds of spots, there is now one more to take care of. Guys, you can tune this out if you want. Ladies..I went to the gyno. Because of the Beast the doctors kept bugging me about going. So now I go for a sonogram next week. The doctor said that he didn't think it was cancer, but something didn't feel right and he wanted to be sure. While I am glad that we are catching things in time, I'll tell you...I am plenty tired of all these appointments. Squeeze here, poke there. And we won't even talk about the bills. At this rate I'll be working long after my doctors retire..sure they'll be retiring thanks to me!! Anyways, I will keep you all posted on this latest adventure. Cindy

Okay gang, have some good news and some that is so-so. The eye is okay for now. It doesn't drain properly due to the plastic surgery I had done as a child. It is not cancer related, just an inconvience that we will watch for the future.
The lower part of me is not so good right now. Enlarged uterus, unclear mass on right side. Will know more this coming week. I sure am hoping for a good outcome but at this point, I think surgery will follow.
And I have a bit more good news...went to my school's job fair. Passed out some resumes. And I have a part-time weekend job pending when a training session opens up. Pretty excited about this as it will help me with my bills. And it is not a draining job, just answering phones and putting info in a computer. But it adds to my skills. I am sure hoping I can do this
Thanks for the comments guys, and I'll keep you informed. Your lumpy friend, Cindy

This is to update all of you.....got the results back from my sonogram today. And it looks like I will be facing some surgery...either a full blown surgery this month of July or laproscopy in August. This all depends on the lab results .. they are checking the CA-125 for ovarian cancer..if it is cancer we will do surgery this month, if the bloodwork comes back with no elevated cancer markers we will do the easier surgery next month. I am a little overwhelmed by this. On Friday, it was three years ago that my Mom had her ovarian cancer surgery. At the time I had my surgery and joined this forum two years ago I was still taking care of her. I am finding it hard to write any words...I am still hopeful about things. Just overwhelmed. But I wanted to let all my friends here know....hugs to all of you...Cindy

Cindy - Oh no - - more surgery for you...
My heart truly goes out to you - you've already been through so much medically.
Here's to hoping that your lab work comes back with some good results and that you can do the less invasive procedure in a month.
Thank goodness you've kept all of these medical appointments!!
Hugs to you - please keep us posted. Chris

To All of You...good news today...it is not ovarian, so we don't have to do surgery this month. But we will do surgery next month because one cyst is the size of a grapfruit and it does have the potential to be ovarian. SO>>>>I will be able to start my second job and get some money set aside and pay some bills. And whatever comes next month, I know it will be okay. Here's hoping it's the last surgery for awhile!! Hugs to all of you! Cindy
