I apologise to all about my absence. I am in Indonesia right now and the computer here caused me to have to sign in again, and I had forgotten my name and password (yes, my memory has declined in my advanced years). I will now try to be better at getting on. I do have a blogsite for my adventure, and itis: www.joelwisner.wordpress.comIt has not been all that easy getting around--for instance, my office is on the second-floor and there are no elevators. But, I think it is very important to push myself to do these things. Maybe I can inspire aome of you to try and "get out there", huh? Always my best to you guys, Joel

Joel, It is so nice to see you back on the Discussion Board. I was worried about your sudden disappearance. The next time you leave for Indonesia or wherever, you must let us know ahead of time and take your SCTA password with you! Teresa

Indonesia? WOW! Long way from home amigo!! Hopefully your trip and stay will be pleasant. Had I known you were heading there I woulda wired you some funds..... I wouldn't mind having one of those new limited run Squier (Fender) Stratocasters that are being made there. Low end quality and price compared to the rest of the Fender lineup but I really like the feel.
Ahyhoooo, GREAT to hear from you again. Keep in touch and enjoy the adventure/journey!

Hey Joel, glad you're having such an adventure. Yes, you are inspiring me to believe that travel is still possible. I just got off of my coumadin (blood thinner for some severe clots post surgery). I am excited about not being on the coumadin anymore, but am nervous about travel. Did you have to get up much and move about? I'll have to read your blog about your trip.

Hey Guys: It has certinly been an adventure so far. There have been some challenges--almost nothing is done here, for handicapped people. If you are in a wheelchair, this would NOT be the place for you. Luckily, I have people who gladly help me out. The new malls are stupendous, the local food is great, and the prices are rock-bottom cheap. Take care all and check out my blogsite. Joel

Hi buddy Joel, Well, I didn't know you weren't on this site because it's been sooooooooo long for me also. After work I just can''t seem to sit down at the computer. So, the prices are cheap, huh? How are the gas prices!!!!!
As far as climbing the stairs, I hope that you get to your office before it's time to quit for the day, ha, ha. No, really, I give you a lot of credit for climbing those stairs. I have to do it every Sunday up to the choir loft and it's a slow climb but it gets my bad leg bending and is great therapy! Quite a job, though, if I'm holding my music, bottom of my robe and my cane in the other hand! Barb

I was about to tell you that there weren't any updates about your trip, and then I realized that it has it's own seperate page.
I'm retarded, and now hanging my head in shame.

Went, don't feel bad. You are not alone. I didn't find the right place to click for a long time for Joel's updates. I just figured he didn't have time to write anything. I enjoyed reading everything when I finally figured out where the blog was. Teresa
