Hi all. For those of you, especially parents of children with SCTs, who've attended a past conference...is it worthwhile to bring my daughter to the conference? She will be 4 years old at that time. We live about 30 minutes from Itasca so we would be able to leave her with family if needed. Thanks for any and all opinions.

In the past there hasn't been to many sct kids coming to the conference. The most kids we ever had was in 2002 before we were the SCTA and even then most of the kids went with a family member sightseeing while the other parent was at the conference. In 2004 and 2006 we only had 1 sct kid at each conference 1 child did stay with her parents for most of the conference but she was using a scooter.
At this time we have no idea how many going be coming to the conference but I will say you should bring your daughter to the meet n greet night on Thursday night. I'm sure with her being 4 years old she will get bored sitting through all of the conference on Friday and Saturday. But......... that is up to you and your husband if you want to bring her. ~Linda

Linda, Thanks for your reply. That's what I thought as well (about her getting bored) and since we are close it makes it easier to leave her at home. Thanks again.
