Holy Cow Missy!!!!!!!!
It is so great to see you here with your beautiful smile. For others who haven't been blessed with Missy's friendship, she was a regular contributor and facilitator on the old site. Linda, Missy, and Kirsten were like the 3 musketeers of tumor surgeries!
She was the one who called me at my office one day prior to my surgery with Jallo, when I was completely freaked out (which is also quite normal I think), and she "slapped me around and talked me down" when I needed it. Anyway, she had her surgery a number of years ago, and she came through it, lives a great life up "north" and walks dogs, if I remember correctly, as a way to get exercise and get paid for it at the same time. Missy, I/we have missed you so very much. Welcome welcome.
If you don't mind, tell us a little bit about what you've been up to lately. How are you feeling?
Joel

I agree with Joel. Missy is a treasured member. I remember feeling down and sent Missy an email and she cheered me up so much with just the way her reply was sent. I still keep that email and read it from time to time.
Thank you!

WOW guys... what a way to make me cry I will always remain connected with the SCTA as I too had many guardian angels when I was in "trouble" .....who I believe had much to do with my success. I fell off the radar a bit while the site was down... but I am back! You are all a blessing, and I look forward to getting acquainted with those I have not met yet.... and to getting re-aquainted with those who I have lost touch with... while I was on sabbatical.... haha I am 6 years plus tumor free but as far away in years that I am... I am no different than anyone out there who thinks about how lucky they are, EVERYDAY! I do suffer with headaches and pain in the neck... but I do what I can to try and look after myself and live as "normally" as I can. I mask a lot... as most of us do. People stop listening to how badly you feel... so I stopped complaining about it... and I do other things that make me feel happy. Joel, you are correct. I left teaching to become a dog walker with my sister. Dog walking was good rehab and good for my mind and soul. We started another business that we run together called Twisted Sisters. Our website is www.twistedsisters.ca and I have packed on a few pounds from too much quality control!!! I would not be human if I didn't wonder about the future, but I try and remain positive and live for the moment. Joel, thanks for getting me going again... I am on a roll!!!
